Golf

Ribeira Grande city offers the possibility of enjoying the two existing golf courses on the island. One is located on the western edge of the municipality – Batalha Golf Course, with 27 holes, located about 15 km away from the historic center of the city. The other, Furnas Golf Course, with 18 holes, is located about 21 km from downtown. There are also local accommodation spaces that offer the possibility of practicing rustic golf, a modality that has gained many supporters in recent years.
